Ashley Lotringer, M.S., CCC-SLP | Founder of Lots of Speech
Hi, I’m Ashley! I am a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping children find their voice through meaningful, joyful communication.
With years of experience working across schools, clinics, homes, and virtual settings, I know that every child’s communication journey is completely unique. I specialize in supporting children with speech sound disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency and literacy skills struggles, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and feeding challenges.
But my job doesn’t stop with your child. Throughout my career, I have found that the best progress happens when children are genuinely engaged. That is why I design evidence-based, hands-on therapy materials tailored to your child’s unique interests and strengths. My therapy philosophy is simple: Learning should be fun, and it shouldn’t feel like work.
I am here for you, too. I believe in a strong parent-coaching model, equipping families with practical tools and strategies to support their child’s growth during everyday routines at home.
Whether we are working together in person, online, or utilizing the specialized resources I’ve created, my ultimate goal is to build your child’s confidence and help them thrive.
I can’t wait to meet your family and get started!

Our Approach To Therapy
Play-Based Learning
We believe that learning should be fun, not frustrating. We target your child's specific goals by tapping into their natural curiosity and intrinsic motivation.
Neurodiversity-Affirming
We celebrate how your child's unique brain works. Our therapies are designed to build confidence and authentic connection, rather than forcing a child to "mask" who they are.
Family-Centered Care
We don't just treat the child; we empower the whole family. Through our parent-coaching model, we give you the tools to support communication growth during everyday routines.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
Trust your instincts! If you are noticing that your child is frustrated when trying to communicate, is harder to understand than other children their age, or isn’t meeting typical speech milestones, a screening is a great next step. Early intervention makes a significant difference, and we are happy to chat with you to see if an evaluation is recommended.
Can I be present during the therapy sessions?
Not required, but encouraged! We believe you are your child’s best teacher. We strongly encourage parent participation and utilize a parent-coaching model. We will show you specific, easy-to-use strategies during and after the session so you feel confident practicing with your child during your everyday routines.
Do you accept Florida state scholarships (like Step Up For Students)
Yes! We are an approved provider for Step Up For Students Scholarships! Please reach out to us to learn more about it.
How often will my child have therapy?
Therapy frequency is highly individualized. After the initial evaluation, we will recommend a therapy schedule that best supports your child’s goals. Most children are seen 1 to 2 times per week.
What if my child won't sit still or is too shy to participate?
That is completely okay! We do not expect children to sit perfectly still at a table. Our therapy is child-led and play-based, meaning we get on the floor, follow their interests, and use movement and toys to keep them engaged. We build trust first so that therapy feels like fun, not work.
Do you collaborate with my child's pediatrician, teachers, or other therapists?
Absolutely. We believe in a team approach. With your permission, we are happy to consult with your child’s pediatrician, teachers, Occupational Therapists, or any other professionals involved in their care to ensure we are all working together to support your child.
